An unexpected conclusion
Anyone entrusting their off-spring to the capable care of school teachers can identify with Kirsten’s central angst . This angst is well drawn out and without giving too much away there is at its core a dark secret. And we are left at the end of this gripping tense novel with a very toxic conclusion.
