Publisher Description
He's the sexy widowed dad who owns a local bar. She takes his job offer to get away from her over-protective family. Are they too different to make a marriage of convenience work?
Being a single dad taking care of my critically ill mother was never in my plans. I'm in over my head when Rilla Grant steps in to help me. She's quiet, shy—my polar opposite—but she loves my little girl, and that's all that matters. Circumstances force us into a marriage of convenience, but I'm not going to risk my heart again. Or am I?
Falling in love might be the craziest chance we ever take.
Customer Reviews
Couldn't put it down.
This story hooked me in and I read it almost in one go. It was an emotional read in places as two people tried to heal the love they had lost. I thought it was a better read than the first of the trilogy but disappointed at the number of trivial mistakes. If you love a romance I can recommend this book for you.
The First one
The first 3 chapters were merely repetitive because it gave exactly two different people who had the same encounter.
There were times the book wasn't pushing me to keep reading because it felt a bit predictable.
I love her books in general.
