About the author
David Eddings was born in Washington State in 1931 and grew up near Seattle. He graduated from the University of Washington and went on to serve in the US Army. Subsequently, he worked as a buyer for the Boeing Aircraft Company and taught college-level English. His career as a fantasy writer, with his wife Leigh, has been spectacular.

Brilliant but what a stupid place to put a spoiler
Loved this book even more than the first one.
I’ve never written a review before but felt compelled because I need to warn others. 😂
When you finish the last page, do not turn another one. I repeat. Don’t turn the page.
For some reason, on the very next page, the first line of the authors note reveals a massive spoiler and now I kinda don’t want to read book 3. I of course will, just being melodramatic ... don’t make the same mistake I did!
