After 24 Reacher novels (plus one novella and 18 short stories—some written solo, some written with other authors) Lee Child (real name Jim Grant) is passing on the torch to another writer. His brother Andrew Child (real name Andrew Grant). The pair have co-authored this taught thriller set around the fallout of a cyber attack on a small town ex-miltary-policeman-turned-crime-fighting-drifter Jack Reacher happens upon during his now 23-year tour of America. And barely a beat is skipped in the transition. Smart deductions are made, seemingly unwinnable fights are won, and Reacher says nothing a lot. It seems we’re in safe hands

Another Town
Reacher drifts through the town gets lucky
It's all over now
Now that Lee Child no longer writes about Jack Reacher you can give up on him. The collaboration is not working, the plots are awful and pace slow.
Stick to the originals. The latest books are a con.
Wasn’t too sure
Reacher seems to evolve as does the writing. At first I wasn’t sure but once I got into the book then it was fine. Maybe a bit more complicated than some before but it’s still a good read.
