a mind trip
i went into reading this with the presumption of a life changing experience, many have raved at how this book really makes you think differently but i only agree with them to a certain extent.
initially the set up was confusing to me, i had not acclimatised to the protagonist’s nonchalant and cold characteristics, and just when i thought i was getting a rather empty story, the twist occurred.
from them themes or mortality and religion (ones i am deeply interested by) were explored and proved as a really exhilarating read. i really enjoyed this book.
