It's been a long time since I read any of James Herbert but I am so glad I chose to read this. Excellent story with a great narrative, if you read it you will not be disappointed!
The Masters Greatest Novel
James Herbert has written many great books but this is by far his greatest work.
I first read it at school having previously read them all in order.
If you think Stephen King is the pinnacle of suspense and horror then think again.
