The Third Wife
This is the first novel I've read by Lisa Jewell. I found her descriptions and understanding of family life with all its intricacies, quite outstanding. I'm looking forward to reading many more of her novels .
Disappointing
I honestly love the writing style of Lisa Jewell and I have read all her recent books and they were excellent! This book however wasn’t a good read and didn’t enjoy it..
Miserable
Having read a couple of other Lisa Jewel books - which were riveting and interesting- this one wasn’t so much a mystery as a miserable tale of the selfishness of men led by their egos and d***s. But if nothing else hopefully it’ll be a warning to women that getting involved with a married man with baggage is never a good idea!
