Publisher Description
An Apple Books Classics edition.
Visit the Wild Wood along the pastoral banks of the Thames, where quiet Mole and fun-loving Water Rat seek out their friends Badger and Toad for adventures. When Toad’s reckless driving gets him into big trouble, he must rely on his friends to help him out—and as the season turns, the friends must band together against a crew of ferocious stoats, ferrets, and weasels who are threatening to steal Toad Hall.
See why Kenneth Grahame’s charming tale of friendship and home has captured the hearts of children—and adults—everywhere since its publication in 1908.

Hello
I loved wind and the willows it made my heart dance with joy
A Classic
Great read... again. Not exactly a children’s read unless they are au fait with classical English speech, like to read of fights and criminality and have a good dictionary to hand. But then who doesn’t know the meaning of ‘querulous’ ? We all know people who behave as it.
Once again a great read with a lot of hidden morals to be unearthed and discussed.
Wind in the willows
