There are six months left of Emma’s twenties... and she has unfinished business.
Emma is about to turn thirty and life hasn’t turned out how she imagined.
Her career is all wrong, her love life a desert and she’s still not on the housing ladder, let alone living in that penthouse apartment she pictured herself in as a teenager.
Moreover, she's never seen the Northern Lights, slept under the stars or snogged anyone famous - just some of the aspirations on a list she wrote fifteen years earlier, which she finds hidden in her old bedroom.
As an endless round of birthday parties sees Emma hurtle towards her thirtieth, she sets about addressing these issues. But, as she quickly discovers with hilarious consequences, some are more difficult to tick off than others.
This is the second book I've read by Jane Costello and once again she had me laughing out loud! Easy to read, happy ending, just what I like from chick lit! :-)
If you want a nice easy girly read, this is perfect!
At first I thought this book was boring and uneventful but I kept reading because I paid for it. I was pleasantly surprised that it was actually a really good book although the author should stick to words she actually knows the definitions rather than trying to dazzle the reader with nonsense!
