APPLE BOOKS REVIEW
If you’re looking for a book to make you happy, Jane Costello’s romantic novel is just the ticket. It’s the story of three single women living in the Lake District—and their respective journeys to find love. Thanks to Costello’s sparkling humour and vivid scene-setting, Summer Nights at the Moonlight Hotel never feels mushy. It’s a mature fantasy that shows that stepping outside your comfort zone can work magic.

Lovely as always!
When I first started to read this book, I was slightly disappointed with no references to Liverpool! Being away from home Janes books always take back... However once I got over myself, I loved this book! It had me laughing out loud, brought tears to my eyes, & couldn't put it down! I just had to know what was going to happen. The only problem now is, how long i have to wait for Janes next book! Another lovely read, thank you ❤️
Rubbish
The plot failed to hook me in, despite that I kept reading because I don't like to start books having left another unfinished. The main character and structure of the writing just followed an obvious pattern which became predictable and a little wearing. Every chapter would just go: arrives somewhere, has conversation, goes to finally do the thing they're meant to do, doesn't do it because Lauren has to perform a simple task but fell into a pool or nearly knocked herself out, end of chapter. The constant clumsiness wore thin at about chapter 4. You can be a little clumsy don't get me wrong, but using it as a way to end a paragraph or chapter or as the reason something doesn't happened, as often as the writer does in this? Yikes. It's a shame, I wanted to like it and it's not the worst book ever but it just wasn't that interesting. Update: skipped to the end because I hate to not know the ending but the Lauren Joe Emily triangle was ridiculously rushed, and every other story line was so predictable. I was bored, skipping pages and left frustrated at the lack of understanding of how humans interact. It could've been an interesting and intriguing story, but for me, huge steps in human interaction were missed out. Like suddenly two characters have feelings for each other that are so secret, they've even been kept from the reader? 👎
Another great read
