The heart-warming and romantic SUNDAY TIMES bestseller: the perfect escape
One little mistake and nothing will ever be the same again!
On the one hand, if Essie hadn't written that letter - the one that only her best friend was meant to see - then she'd still be living like an actual proper grown-up, tucked up with Paul in his picture-perfect cottage, maybe even planning their wedding...
On the other hand (if her true feelings hadn't accidentally taken the internet by storm, that is) she wouldn't have moved into the attic flat on the square. She would never have met Conor. Or got to know Lucas...
And she wouldn't have found herself falling in love with someone she really, really shouldn't fall in love with...

APPLE BOOKS REVIEW
Accidentally sending an email you never intended to leave your drafts folder is everyone’s worst nightmare. And for Essie, it’s a reality. This bold beginning throws our loveable lead into an adventure full of humor, happiness, and unexpected new friends. We were inspired by one of those friends: the vibrant and wise Zillah, who warms the pages with her random acts of kindness. Jill Mansell is a master of life-affirming fiction and here she takes us on a romantic journey where the path to true love isn’t quite as smooth as Essie had hoped.

A nice story with interesting characters which is what you expect from Ms Mansell. This story is better than several of her most recent books but still not as good as her first ventures into the literary world.
Heartwarming in places and a true love story!
Witty & Heartwarming
Another beautiful story from Jill Mansell with characters who find a place in your heart. A heartwarming ending to a beautiful story.
