Misleading. This is not Plato’s Timaeus…
Skipped the Introduction and read so far along and was confused by certain language used and modern references…then I realized this is not Plato’s Timaeus. It’s Jowett’s thoughts of it. Jowett’s edition can be very confusing because his commentary and Plato’s actual dialogue are presented together. If you’re reading it primarily to experience what Plato himself wrote, this will confuse you. The Headings aren’t clear.
