Publisher Description
The first book in the interntional bestselling series, Vampire Academy.
Love and loyalty run deeper than blood.
St. Vladimir’s Academy isn’t just any school—it’s a place where vampires and dhampir’s, vampire-human hybrids, train for a life fraught with danger.
Rose Hathaway is a dhampir and a guardian for her best friend Lissa. The two have an unbreakable bond but Rose’s vow to always put Lissa first is tested when Dimitri Belikov arrives at St Vladimir’s.
Lethal and disciplined, Dimitri is everything a guardian should be and, with every moment they spend together, Rose finds herself more and more drawn to him. . . leaving Lissa exposed.
Soon, Rose will have to choose between the best friend she lives for, and the man she can't live without.

Comfort book
It’s not groundbreaking, and it’s writing is simple. But for sci-if romance lovers like me this book is a quick comfort and has a sweet and compelling plot. Very much a worthy read
good but the age difference is bad
she’s 17 and he’s 24. let’s not forget he’s over a foot taller than her. it feels like he’s into little girls and she’s getting groomed.
Inspiring
Absolutely amazing series, have read no less than 4 times and each time is thrilling. Rose is a wonderful character who makes you want to be as strong and unbeatable as her, my absolute favourite series and favourite book.
