______________

How can ten years of your life just disappear?

Alice is twenty-nine.

She adores sleep, chocolate, and her ramshackle new house.

She's newly engaged to the wonderful Nick, and is pregnant with her first baby. But there's just one problem.

That was ten years ago . . .

Alice slipped in her step-aerobics class, hit her head and lost a decade.

Now she's a grown-up, bossy mother of three in the middle of a nasty divorce and her beloved sister Elisabeth isn't speaking to her.

This is her life, but not as she knows it.

Just how many mistakes can you make in a decade?

Can she ever get back to the woman she used to be?

What Alice Forgot ❤

I really loved this book. It made me smile inside & out. And unlike most books, the ending is a proper ending. Not just cut off & quick. Definatley give it a read. It's has a lot of different feeling & thought. I'm glad I read it and will be sad to put it down 👍

Easy to read and thought-provoking

Very easy to read. Well observed vignettes of modern day preoccupations and (spoiler alert) also the trials of infertility. Makes you take stock of your own life a bit.

Really enjoyed this book

To start with I found it slow, I thought get on with it... but once I got into it, well I really got into it. Ended up talking about it to friends and family and recommended it to them. Really great read, love the different perspectives in the book. The author is just so good at writing something really realistic, that's also shocking and gripping. Great read.
