APPLE BOOKS REVIEW
With extremely clever storytelling, terrific pace and emotional heft, Lia Middleton’s When They Find Her is one of the more memorable thrillers we can recall. Its premise isn’t for the faint-hearted: Naomi is a troubled woman whose chance at rebuilding a relationship with four-year-old daughter Freya is destroyed when she wakes up one morning to discover Freya dead. Bereft, confused and panicked, Naomi hides her daughter’s body and tells the police and ex-husband Aiden that Freya is missing. From here, Middleton fires up a psychological assault course of a story full of superbly drawn characters and gasp-out-loud revelations that feels built for a glossy TV adaptation.
Customer Reviews
Loved it.
From about half way though I struggled to put this down. Loved the characters.
Interesting
This was definitely a good read, it was a little bit slow in some places but I feel that it adds to the plot by allowing the reader to look into the mind of the main character. The twist was good, unexpected I didn’t see it coming. I would recommend
