I’m not sure how I feel about this book. The story will most likely stay with me, for a while at least, but at the same time, if I’m being honest, I was a bit bored while reading the book. I found it way too long, the endless descriptions and flashbacks got tiresome (“get to the point already!”). The story itself is an interesting one albeit quite predictable, especially if you’ve read other Kate Morton books! I saw plenty of the plot twists coming almost from the beginning of the story so that too probably took some of the fun away!
Overall, it’s an average read and IMO not her strongest one.
