Absolute perfection - Must read
V.T. Bonds is the Queen of Omegaverse, there is no doubt now.
I'll start by saying that this is the only book you'll probably ever read, where out of app. 300 pages, the story in 240 of them takes place in ONE SINGLE room. The astounding fact? I didn't even notice this, but only after I finished the book, it is THAT good. Also, I simply love the covers in this series. Each one illustrates with scary accuracy the h of each book. It's like Bonds put her mind on the covers.
Each book in this series is completely different from one another, and each couple unique. So, this story is the 5th in the series and a long-awaited one. Vander, the always calculating, serious, composed, responsible leader of the Alpha Elite needs a mate as well, and he finally gets her. Or rather, she gets him ;)
Talk about crazy! Evie is a whole new level of crazy, just the right amount for Vander, and his exact opposite in demeanor. She tests his control to the limits, and she is the most bada**, strongest, craziest, cunningest, sassiest, persistent, patient, not to mention dangerous and *deadliest* Omega of all. Of course, there is a reason why she is like this. There is always a reason for everything in these books... We get a glimpse of Evie's past through her link with Vander, of all her pain and all operations she had to go through and/or carry out in order to find at last her "family".
The book is full of surprises and scorching hot steam. We get to see the Omegas interact a lot more than the previous books, questions are answered, we actually see how important is Evie in the story, and the plot is very well-thought of. It is immersive, a page-turner and very original. The characters are simply brilliant.
I really do not want this series to end. It is the most original one I've ever read in this genre. I'm so looking forward to the next book. The Alpha Elites and their Omegas go to war led by Evie. After all, Evie is a queen and Vander is definitely her King.
