"I need you in my den, Anastasia. Use it. Mark it. If that's the closest we can get, I'll take it. Give me the satisfaction of knowing I've provided a safe place for you, if nothing else."
-Jumoke
Everyone I touch dies a horrible, gruesome death. It's not a secret, but since I've never left the ISC facility, I've never met someone who didn't know about my condition.
Until a massive soldier with a devilish smirk breaks down my cell door.
With his quick wit and unnerving appeal, he demands I follow him, and as an Alpha Elite–a top secret Special Operations unit of super soldiers–he won't take no for an answer.
I'm his omega lifemate, but he can't have me.
I'm prepared to reject him until my last breath, but when my heat hits early and he offers me his den, promising to walk away until I'm through, I have no choice but to accept.
Can he resist the scent of my slick or will he break down another door?

Darkness, fear, sorrow… salvation
I cannot really put my feelings into words for this book. It is certainly way different from the previous ones. More original and darker. I spent reading the first half of the book bawling. Seriously, I spent a package of tissues and I am not even that sentimental... Given the fact that this series goes under Sci-Fi Erotica, I have to admit that although there are many sexy times between the couple, that were also more raw and delicious than the previous books ;-), I found myself more focused and immersed in Anastasia's story, feelings and thoughts. This is an exceptional book from Bonds. The fact that she managed to combine so much pain, drama, real and raw emotions, and perfectly timed steamy scenes, tell me lots of her talent as an author. I look forward to read the (unfortunately) final book of this great series. :) Warning: This is definitely NOT a book for the faint of heart.
