Tabitha is a free-spirited individual who has gone off alone on a trip only to find herself waking up in the castle having been kidnapped by none other than dragon shifter Gabriel Dieter with no recollection of how she got there. Was extremely unhappy at this turn of events and not prepared to even like him, but discovered he had been searching for her these past 10 years as she had awoken the dragon from his slumber but immediately disappeared.
Determined not to lose her again they negotiate a deal she will stay with him for 40 days & nights by his side and he will woo her that she will never want to be apart from him. Dragons are known for gathering treasures but Tabitha is not materialistic and she will challenge him repeatedly in his attempts to hold onto her. She is no pushover and their interactions make this a fun and entertaining read.
Renee & Lee managed to turn my opinion of Gabriel on its head that I was all for Gabriel & Tabitha getting together.
Was gifted an ARC copy of this book and it certainly did not disappoint, worth waiting for.
