After a life consumed with work and motherhood, Sofia is staring down her 50th birthday and is ready to try something new, but finding herself in Nazi-occupied Florence during a past life regression, she discovers that her altered life as Franco has a whole new set of challenges. While her husband struggles to keep their family whole in the world she unintentionally left behind, Sofia is committed to hiding and protecting Jewish families being hunted during World War II while simultaneously battling to find her way back.
