All Sylvie Hopkins and Timothy Day ever wanted was to feel normal.      

Sylvie yearned to be free of her persistent anxiety and Timothy of his sense that the world around him was not as it seems. When even their respective therapists give up on the hope of ever curing them, a radical treatment option is considered. The two are offered the chance to be seen by Professor Marshall Connor, a neuroscientist and the head of a secret experimental facility focused on unlocking the secrets of the human mind.

For Sylvie and Timothy, it’s an opportunity of a lifetime. But, as they soon find out, Professor Connor’s definition of normal, or even what it means to be human, is far different than their own.
