John Milton (1608-1674) was an English poet and polemicist. Moreover, John Milton was a man of letters and a civil servant for the Commonwealth of England under Oliver Cromwell. His poetry and prose describe deep individual persuasions, an aspiration for freedom and self-determination, important points and political instability of his day.

“Comus” is a masque in honour of chastity, written by John Milton. It is a story about two brothers and their sister, simply called "the Lady". They got lost in a travel through the woods.
