Perverted Love

Perverted Love is a collection of poems that reflect a social consciousness from the writer's point of view. It documents a reality that is sublime, yet connects with the most basic elements of human raw emotions. The narrator's voice is intellectual but manipulates the colloquial and sub-colloquial levels of registers that exist in American English. The author takes the audience into distant lands and realities using imagery and coded messages that are embellished into the poems. The collection deals with the classic Greek interpretations of love and the author puts a modern twist to it, pervert love. Every poem consists of the basic elements of love and twisted by perversion.
