The former independent colony of Delta-Nine is suffering a socio-political upheaval. Under the duress of powers back on Earth, young Chinese extremists violently lash out at the exploitation and the broken promise of a new beginning for their people. Caught amidst this volatile conflict is Wesley Jung, the wayward son of the great scientist Charles Jung. As Wesley’s unlawful actions are brought to the attention of the Neo-Shanxi Assembly, his eldest brother Alistair and his grandfather, the Chairman of the Assembly, bring him in on a conspiracy to liberate their home planet.
POST-TERRA FIRMA is a series exploring humanity’s future in the first era of colonising the stars. The series blends retro-futurism, space western and military science fiction as the backdrop to the domestic relationships brought under strain by the tribulations of conflict and living beyond the Earth.
