Lucy is English but lives in Thailand with her boyfriend, her Thai guy. She agrees to help take care of two small children under the age of 2 for a single parent. Their dad works hard and plays hard and leaves Lucy in charge. Lucy learns to live on subsistence Thai wages taking care of two children with estranged mothers. Lucy's job is not just to take care of the children but also to protect them.
