A CASE HISTORY In the mid 1990's the author was requested to attend a case conference between officers from an Australian State government welfare agency and a young woman who had recently entered Australia on a refugee visa from Latin America. The author was requested to come to the meeting because of her involvement with refugee communities and ability to speak some Spanish.
