The Four Chaplains

Too often, the stories of our heroes are lost or distorted.  We have recovered this tale by piecing together first-person accounts and news reports from the time, to commemorate the heroes of the USAT Dorchester, which sank on February 3, 1943, during World War II. 


These brave men; four Army Chaplains from differing faiths and backgrounds, sacrificed everything to give their shipmates a bit of hope in a terrifying situation.
