Phenomenally brilliant - a must read
This is probably the best tween/teen book of 2013. It lives up to everything I had hoped for! I began reading Cherub (the recruit) aged 9, and have followed the series to the end. I have also read and loved the precursor series Hendersons boys. I must say I had my doubts about this trilogy because the original characters were so real and epic, and to me were irreplaceable, but Muchamore has delivered again! This is a fast paced conclusion, with everything true to CHERUB nature - it has the action, explosions and heroism combined with real teenage moments and a bit of heartbreak and romance (young love!) . Fan favourites James, Lauren and Amy Colins make a few appearances too.
A must read for teens and adults as well. It was punchy and amazing and leaves you craving the next publication.
