Christmas Day in the Morning, with Audio by Author

I'm reading to you the story of Christmas long ago, but not so long ago, since it was my own Christmas when I was a greedy boy of nine. Oh, the waiting for The Great Day!  Oh, the decorating of the tree!  Oh, the hanging of the stocking, with care! Oh, the waking up too early, and opening the stocking on the end of the bed! And then going downstairs and seeing The Presents!  And all the rest…the thrills, the disappointments, the going to church and the carols. Come enjoy that Christmas with me!
