In Christ and With Christ

When we believe in Jesus as our saviour immediately, as far as God is concerned, we are placed ‘in Christ’ and we have forgiveness of sins and the sure and certain hope of eternal life.

 

However, interwoven with this salvation and eternal hope is the believers ‘identification’ with Christ, and the author takes the reader through the various steps of this ‘identification’ including:

 

Identification with Christ in His death and burial.
Identification with Christ in His resurrection from the dead.
Identification with Christ in His ascension.
Identification with Christ into the higher heavens far above all.
Identification with Christ in His suffering.
