Joe Rios v. State Texas

Appellant was convicted of murder of more than one person during the same transaction, a capital offense under V.T.C.A. Penal Code, § 19.03(a)(6). The jury answered special issues affirmatively, and punishment was assessed accordingly at death. Article 37.071, V.A.C.C.P. Appeal to this Court is automatic. Id., § (h).
