A spinoff from the Boston Bay Vikings Series.


Set in the world of ice hockey, the story follows Lake Bradshaw, who has just started his rookie year as a forward on the Boston Bay Vikings' roster and wears jersey number 25. The team is currently ranked fifth overall in the NHL.


Lake is struggling with the newfound attention from the hockey fans, especially those who want to date the new star rookie. However, his heart has already been taken.


Juniper Shaffer has been living alone with her stepbrother since their parents died twelve months ago. While Lake has been busy with the Vikings, Juniper has felt stuck in a rut, unsure of her future. It doesn't help with planning her future when all she wants is to be a permanent fixture in Lake's life—just not as his stepsister.


Then one unexpected night leads them both down a forbidden path.
