Value-Creating Global Citizenship Education for Sustainable Development

This book discusses value-creating global citizenship education as a pedagogical approach developed by taking Soka studies as a focal point of inquiry. It uses a values-based lens to examine education for sustainable development and global citizenship. The author proposes curriculum, teaching, learning, and policy to address issues including climate change, human rights, and peace, while also engaging with the educational crises posed by current and potential future pandemics.
