Following these reasons are church laws and constitutions that are also often called the traditions of the church by the masses and[TEXT NOT REPRODUCIBLE IN ASCII], by the apostle Paul in 1 Corinthians 11:2, and in other places. By the Hebrews, however, they were called by the same term used for God's law, Torah, since they had their own traditions as is shown in the Gospels (see Matthew 15:3: "You break the commandment of God for the sake of your tradition").
