Thesis 7 It is well-known what sacramental and sacrificial laws are. All the details necessary for the external worship of God are included under the category of "holy things," including holy places, occasions, utensils, and the instruments of the divine cult that scholars call the fourth "legal ordinances," abusing this general term because they lack a specialized one, or precepts by which, particular holy and secular things are commanded--concerning food, clothes, and other things of the type by which individuals who worship God are distinguished from those who do not.
