Outdated advice, terrible delivery.

If this is your very first book on professional selling, then maybe it will offer a few platitudes that will help you get your mind right. But if you’ve read any Zig Ziglar, Brian Tracy, or Tom Hopkins then this book will sound like a rehash of those ideas. The first few chapters just offer the typical motivational stuff about loving Mondays, being passionate and having integrity. All important qualities no doubt, but did we really need another book about them? If you want real sales insights that will move the needle try Anthony Iannarino and Neil Rackham and leave this book where it belongs: back in 1973. One more note: the author loves to mention his own skills/experience as a speaker but the delivery of this audiobook is almost intolerable. It literally sounds like a robot is reading it. I’m giving it two stars out of kindness.
