Good Idea, Bad Excecution
The concept is good: a battle-hardened solider is transported to another world as his country falls to pieces. Unfortunately, the excecution is horrible: most of the characters are boring sterotypes, the sparse battle scenes are uninspired and vague, and the fantasy world itself is not used to its full potential, nor is it very original: a medieval realm straight out of a fairy tale. I do not recomend this book at all. Avoid.
