Just Okay
Having just discovered this classic author a few years ago, I read the couple of copies my local library had and then ran into a brick wall. I was overjoyed when H&S started re-releasing the titles, especially as audio books. I was a little disappointed in this one, though. I loved Timothy and the horses, but the rest felt lacking compared to ‘Nine Coaches Waiting’ or ‘Madam, Will You Talk?’. I find it hard to believe a Mary Stewart novel exists that I didn’t take a shine to, but there it is.
