Call Me by Your Name first swept across the world in 2007. It is the story of a sudden and powerful romance that blossoms between an adolescent boy and a summer guest at his parents' cliffside mansion on the Italian Riviera. During the restless summer weeks, unrelenting but buried currents of obsession, fascination, and desire intensify their passion as they test the charged ground between them and verge toward the one thing both already fear they may never truly find again: total intimacy. André Aciman's critically acclaimed debut novel is a frank, unsentimental, heartrending elegy to human passion.

More praise for Call Me By Your Name:

Sexy nostalgia

This book is one for everyone.. it takes you back to a first love, attraction, lust, heartache, that really transcends sexuality. It’s one of the sexiest books i have ever read. This author takes you back to your adolescence in a way you had forgotten.. simply beautiful..

Beautiful story, fantastic narration

This is an unbelievably beautiful story, and though one can imagine where it’s going, the journey is magnificent. (Better than the movie, I’m afraid, but often the case and still worth seeing.)
Armie Hammer’s narration is beyond the pale! I would listen to ANYTHING he reads. Will never be able to hear “later!” again without thinking of him.
Five enthusiastic stars!!!!!
