Put down and never come back to
This book was one of my son’s summer reading assignments, so I decided to read it too. Honestly, I found the story moved very slowly and didn’t have many moments that really grabbed our attention.
In a world where everything moves so fast, I think books, especially those for kids, need to have a bit more excitement to keep readers engaged. This one felt a little too quiet and slow-paced, and it was hard to stay interested.
I have a feeling this will end up being one of those books we put down and never come back to. I wish the story had a bit more energy to draw kids in and keep them hooked.
