Painfully slow narration
Five-star book; the rating is for the reading alone. The narration is very clear but the reader takes odd pauses and generally reads very slowly. I found myself listening at 2x speed and it was OK. I wish there were a 1.5x speed option because sometimes that felt too speedy.
Dostoy-never again-ski
The book is a gripping tale of morality but the narration is dull and sleep inducing . Great for insomniacs and a perfect gift for your sworn enemy . Lull your nemesis into eternal slumber with the monotone narration then pounce .
The narrator is terrible.
The narrator is incredibly slow, thanks fathers in odd places, and makes it hard to distinguish between characters because his voice hardly changes at all. There are other versions which are cheaper and have much better narration. Don’t let this guy ruin a great book for you.
