i want my money back
i bought this audio book based on the preview which sounds fine. but then when i downloaded it, i realized the preview was just the introduction. the actual text is read in a room with an echo that is very distracting. i found it difficult to understand what he was saying. turning up the volume just made it worse. at times, it sounded like someone else was talking in the background. the preview is not an accurate representation of the quality of the audiobook and i'm very disappointed. do not buy this!
Not De Profundis
Not De Profundis but the private letters surrounding De Profundis, all together misadvertised and badly read (lots of clanking, echoing, and too many loud sound effects combined with a rather hard to hear voice). Also, it’s only the last 20% that has anything from De Profundis in it, the rest is mostly introduction—just awful, get the librivox recording, at least it’s free.
