Loved this prequel!
I loved this prequel to You Had Your Chance, Lee Burrows about Shayna and Lee’s back story from when they were in college. She was his tutor and he had made a “bet” with his friends about her. I highly recommend reading this novella prior to reading You Had Your Chance, Lee Burrows.
I listened to this prequel as an audiobook and I loved Callie Dalton and Joe Arden’s narration. They did a great job not only narrating this story, but also bringing Shayna and Lee to life.

I don’t like stories where the mmc “friends” are disgusting pigs towards women but they’re okay with it until the friend is a douche towards their “love interest.” Instantly lost me.
False Start brings lots of fun!
As with physical books, I sometimes like a good little palette cleanser in between reads, and this sports romance novella by 𝐏𝐢𝐩𝐞𝐫 𝐑𝐚𝐲𝐧𝐞 was perfect for that!

I loved how #JoeArden & #CallieDalton brought Lee & Shayna to life!!! Their voices are perfect for narrating and I never bore of hearing them! Lee & Shayna have some great banter and the sparks really fly between them. Their start was captivating but the novella’s ending…??? Let’s just say you need the first book, 𝒀𝒐𝒖 𝑯𝒂𝒅 𝒀𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝑪𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒆, 𝑳𝒆𝒆 𝑩𝒖𝒓𝒓𝒐𝒘𝒔,to instantly dive into!

It’s a quick read with an ending that you need more of, but it’s oh so worthy of 4★!!! I am so glad I’m diving into Lee & Shayna’s complete story next!
