Fresh Air
I will not need 6000 characters to describe as we are talkng about Paul McCartney!! Nothing short of Awesome. A must listen (Read) for any Beatle, Wings, Solo Paul Fan!
Just OK for me, not much new here...
I had high expectations for this, since I usually find Terry Gross's interviews very insightful and interesting, however I was somewhat disappointed. I thought she and Paul would find some new ground to break, but about half of the contents seemed to re-hash old commentary that you've certainly heard before if you're any kind of Beatle fan. You know... the bit about how he dreamt the song "Yesterday" and the original scrambled eggs lyrics, the first song he ever wrote, how he and John agreed to credit their songs jointly, etc.
On the plus side, Paul was very relaxed and cooperative. He wasn't trying too hard to be clever or cute. He did read aloud some poems from the Blackbird book, and that was very enjoyable.
