Fantastic start to an underrated series
Fantastic read ignore other reviews this was a fantastic narration with ten press yet again going out of their way for a quality audio adaptation if your are a fan of this series this will be worth a listen if you don’t have time to sit and read the actual light novel
A rated M story, convert into a children book. Very Boring.
First: to the writer of Goblin Slayer books. I really enjoy reading your books, and season 1 TV series. Unfortunately - Season 2 seems rushed, and lacked other backstories. Shouldn’t been 13 episodes either.
I was looking forward to an audiobook version, but sadly. In less than 10 mins! I knew this audiobook is going to be a bad. Whoever approved this audiobook (writer and or publisher)? Made this R or M rated series into a… children book.
As a reader to the manga series. The story is a rated M for mature. I don’t need to go into details why.
This could easily be 18 hours, why so short??? Also, Kept the story really clean, which makes it feel very wrong. There also few mistakes. Twice, writer wrote, Goblin Slayer use a sword to long. As if Goblin Slayer was a sword like Guts in Berserk. Maybe is this was GS first year. His first sword is regular. But this isn’t first year series. GS uses short sword. Who ever wrote this audiobook didn’t do their homework.
I’m completely this audio-book few time now. This is another (updated draft). At first I gave it three stars. After completing a few times. Personally, this audiobook brings shame to the Goblin Slayer series.
Save your money and buy the paperback. Or, get the dvd series. Season 1 is great. Season 2 - feels really rushed. Shame. Also, it’s short too. But it’s just ok.
-The voice actors to the audiobook - I give a 4 to 10 stars. They did great. A tweak, for the Villains voices is needed. They sounded, comical.
To the writer and producer to this audiobook. Why? Why was this story down graded?
