No quote can describe the impact of Conrad’s writing better than this: “This was the unbounded power of eloquence—of words—of burning noble words.”
His mastery of language is simply humbling and remarkable.
Kenneth Branagh’s skill as a narrator is unsurpassed, in my opinion.
With due respect to others who lend their talents to the reading of audiobooks, Branagh simply puts many of them to shame - so deft is his talent.
These 2 craftsmen are well paired in this wonderful production of Heart of Darkness.

Great reading!
This is a fantastic audiobook. Ken Branagh's narration is beautiful, clear, and illuminating. Listening to this while I read helped me both understand and enjoy the novel.
