NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER

Grammy Award–nominated, platinum-selling musician Halsey is heralded as one of the most compelling voices of their generation. In I Would Leave Me If I Could, they reveal never-before-seen poetry of longing, love, and the nuances of bipolar disorder.

In this debut collection, Halsey bares their soul. Bringing the same artistry found in their lyrics, Halsey’s poems delve into the highs and lows of doomed relationships, family ties, sexuality, and mental illness. More hand grenades than confessions, these autobiographical poems explore and dismantle conventional notions of what it means to be a feminist in search of power.

Masterful as it is raw, passionate, and profound, I Would Leave Me If I Could signals the arrival of an essential voice.

Amazing

I bought this book when it came out and it was great but hearing Halsey read the words herself makes it that much better. A must buy for any Halsey fans.

Moving

I’m enamored with her voice and I can legitimately feel real emotion in her voice. Her choice of words is equally elegant. This is pure art

I stay another day.

Raw and beautiful. That’s how I see and express my love for this women. She has a way with words that will forever be remembered and etched in my brain. Like a lovers tree bark and a old switch blade. She expresses and exposes what it is to be a girl turned into a women in this world. What should be normal in how a sexuality and the “dirty thoughts” we all think can be poetic and angelic. She has shown that there should be a metal for artists like her that open up the most vulnerable and stigma ridden parts of mental illness. How mainic, depression, anxiety, and bipolarism, isn’t a right to call another “crazy”.
All in all. With the last period. I felt if she can do it. I guess I can stay Another Day too.
