i really enjoyed it it just took a while for me to get into it
Not her typical
The best part of this book was the twist at the end and if not for that it wouldn’t get 3 stars. Not typical Kubica writing. It was a ‘Meh’ for me.
Unexpectedly one of the best audiobooks I’ve ever read
I am more or less addicted to audiobooks of the thriller nature. With a long work commute, they are my comfort and escape. I usually like your typical murder mystery and wasn’t really into the synopsis of this book but I had a void waiting for the release of another book so I decided to give it a try. I have also enjoyed other Kubica books so I thought “why not.” This book was fantastic. The characters are developed so deeply and for a book that crosses genres in the way it is untypical it really stood out to me. It’s well written and created a new interest in me with the way the story develops. I don’t want to suggest anything for anyone who will read it but it took me by surprise and completely changed what I will look for in a book. I’ve recommended it 100 times now.
