A parents love can cause pain to many 🍊
Very good read. A bit confusing at the first time second time reading made a lot more sense
Did not like narrator’s style, story felt under-developed and slow
If you dislike audiobook reading/narrating style that has a lot of emotion, this audiobook isn’t for you. The female narrator is so overly dramatic throughout normal moments that when there are actual dramatic moments, she has to go full force and she sounds even more ridiculous.
Regarding the storyline, it’s very far-fetched, underdeveloped, and slow. There’s a few twists at the end that would have been fine without the final twist, which added nothing to the quality of the book because it felt too out of nowhere.
The characters, all of them, are unlikable and don’t have any depth. As an adult, it’s difficult hearing a teenage character’s POV when said teenager is extremely naive, yet hateful.
If I had read the physical book, I’d probably give it three stars. The audiobook was difficult to listen to due to tone, volume, and overly dramatic and emphatic style used by the narrator.
Wow
That was definitely not the ending. I was expecting at all halfway through I knew who did it and then the twist at the end.
