It’s okay
Count how many times the term “coughed delicately” was used in the last few books.
The continuing story is good…
But this change in readers is not good! She doesn’t do any of the voices…John is FRENCH and sounds exactly like Adele! Every character sounds exactly the same and it’s hard to keep them straight at times. Her inflection is pretty flat most of the time. Go back to the the earlier readers please!!!
Ughhh, the narrator
I gave three stars after two chapters,now I’m two more chapters in and it’s like this narrator doesn’t even try. All of the sudden the main characters have zero personality, the narrator hasn’t given an ounce of effort to make these characters interesting and distinct. The mono tone voice is horrific. I feel like I’m owed a refund and more for pain and suffering through five chapters. Big disappointment.
